This article represents base technologies in import of machinery and technical products, taking into account the informal practices that are used by international trade intermediaries in border region. Based on the compilation of the data about intermediary activity, we have offered a simulation model "trade mark-up - the number of competitors" allowed to predict and optimize the economic behavior of intermediaries with changing market conditions.
