The modern phase of the agro industrial complex (APC) in most developed countries is characterized by the transition to innovation model of development. In market economies, the rise of the agricultural sector is impossible without a transition to intensive development, which is the main factor in increasing the efficiency of the APC. In the present work using the principles of systems approach, methods of structural and economic-statistical analysis examined various aspects of the intensification of animal husbandry at the regional level. Draw appropriate conclusions and suggest the best way of intensive development of animal husbandry in the modern market economy, competition and unstable economic situation.
