Subject. A prospective model of state economic management. Objectives. To develop a conceptual approach to creating a prospective model of state economic management. Methods. General scientific methods were employed, including the systematization of academic research. Results. The key levels of state economic management have been revealed, along with the order of interaction between entities at different levels. A conceptual approach to developing a prospective model of state economic management has been presented. The model envisages interaction among entities operating at four management levels. Conclusions and Relevance. By leveraging existing channels of interaction between systemically important organizations with state participation and entities at other levels, public authorities gain the opportunity to engage these entities in implementing management measures aimed at achieving Russia’s strategic development goals. This will enhance the effectiveness of management measures through targeted interaction with key economic actors and greater involvement of these actors in implementing nationally significant initiatives. Systemically important organizations with state participation will retain their profit-oriented focus, but will also be assigned additional social functions. The implementation of these functions should be accompanied by extensive state support from relevant government bodies. The proposed approach can be applied in the field of strategic planning.
