Assessing the possibility of intensifying Russian-Latin American cooperation in the field of digital technologies based on the practices of developing the digital economy in Russia
Subject. This article discusses the issues related to the Russian-Latin American cooperation in the field of digital technologies. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the major areas of the Russian-Latin American cooperation in the field of digital technologies. Methods. For the study, I used the general scientific methods and point evaluation method. Results. The article finds that relations between Russia and Latin American countries are developing in the format of bilateral cooperation mostly, and it identifies potential areas of cooperation between Russia and some Latin American countries in the field of information and telecommunication technologies. The article gives explicit reasons why some Latin American countries may be considered as the most promising partners in the field of digital technologies for Russia. Conclusions. Russia can be considered for the Latin American countries as the most important partner in the process of developing the digital economy in the region.
