Theoretical and methodological aspects to determine the ability of implemented strategy for ensuring the achievement of sustainable economic development of the organization
Subject. The article discusses the effectiveness of organization's development strategy based on evaluation of strategic results from the economic sustainability perspective. Objectives. The study aims to devise theoretical provisions for implementation of strategy for achieving economic sustainability of the organization, formulate methodological recommendations for evaluating the development strategy based on the criterion of achieving economic sustainability, obtain practical results from the implementation of the methodology. Methods. The study rests on systems and strategic approaches, statistical research methods, like grouping, variation analysis, and time series analysis. Results. We developed theoretical provisions and methodological recommendations to determine the ability of organization's implemented strategy to achieve its sustainable economic development, formulated criteria to measure the effectiveness of the implemented strategy for sustainable economic development of the organization. Conclusions. The study justified that for successful functioning in the competitive market under conditions of intensive transformation of economic relations any organization should orient the implemented strategy to achieve sustainable economic development. Sustainable economic development should be considered as a criterion for assessing the effectiveness of development strategy of economic entity.
