Effective instruments to promote investment activity in Russian regions (the case of the Ulyanovsk region)

The article describes the specifics of using various tools and techniques to promote investment activity and attract investment in the Russian regions. Analyzing the case of the Ulyanovsk region, the author examines the effectiveness of using these tools and techniques. The author also provides the findings of the investor survey, which is aimed at identifying the most powerful ways to stimulate investment activity. The article notes an important role of both the administrative and fiscal support measures and ensuring necessary infrastructure for investment project support.
