The article notes that in the present conditions the management of customs authorities has changed significantly. This is due to the creation of the Customs Union, the formation of a common economic space and our country's accession to the WTO. In this connection, the existing approaches to forecasting of customs payments were not efficient enough. The author says of the need for their improvement through the development and implementation of predictive technologies based on econometric models of forecasting.
