The article analyzes the features of currency policy of the CIS countries caused by change of parameters of the external and internal environment. The authors consider the stages of development of the currency policy differing with the purposes and instruments of realization on the basis of what existence of similar problems for the states and tendencies in the course of formation of the currency policy and its realization. The paper special attention pays to the analysis of influence of the modern global crisis on decision-making for improvement of the currency policy and stabilization of the currency market.
