The article notes that in the conditions of growth of organization's total receivables the issues related to effective management of debtors' obligations became very urgent now. The authors analyze different approaches to definition of a credit portfolio, formulate the concept "organization's credit portfolio", develop its classification and define structure. The paper concludes that, to form an organization's effective credit policy, use of the traditional instruments of credit portfolio management for credit organization is quite possible.
