The article considers the current state of the market of personal insurance in the Republic of Dagestan and presents the comparative analysis of development of main types of voluntary personal insurance. The author reveals the factors having defining impact on development of voluntary personal insurance in the region. The paper defines the prospects of development of voluntary personal insurance in the Republic of Dagestan in modern conditions.
