The article points out that in connection with globalization of world economy and active development of information technologies on the market of financial services the question of creation of effective payment system gains the increasing value. The author analyzes various models of payment systems for the translation of the large sums, functioning in the different countries and defines the most effective payment systems having an optimum ratio of risks and parameters of liquidity. He concludes that development of the hybrid systems including more difficult algorithms of mutually test payments, it is possible to consider as the following step of evolution in development of payment systems.
