The purpose of this article is a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the problems of the legal status of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, development of modern approaches to the understanding of the legal relationship with the participation of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the definition of the main directions of improving the legal regulation of the status of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The article discusses the issues and essence of the legal framework of the central bank and its role in the economic development of the country, the content to their role. Also describes features of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan during the global financial crisis.
