A.L. Shletsera's role in development of domestic financial thought

In the article it is proved that A.L. Shletsera's activity caused development of the Russian financial thought in its many directions: theory, history, statistics of finance, finance of regions. He was the scientist, the teacher and the publicist who is universally using a set of knowledge in various spheres: philology, history, geography, medicine, biology, ethnography, etc. But multilateral research of the state, including its financial relations was its purpose.
