Invention investment funds: in search for new opportunities to defend nation's interests

The article is devoted to the appearance and further evolution of new generation financial institutes - the invention investment funds. Most characteristics of new institutes are considered on the example of the most known operating private American company. It is shown that the state-private partnership in this sphere can play an important role for protection of national interests of the country and improvement of its competitive positions in the international technological race.
