In the article it is considered the questions of financing of infrastructure projects of the sports industry by means of such innovative mechanism, as the public-private partnership (PPP). The special attention is paid to the characteristic of the PPP models and mechanisms of their application in the various countries. The problems of implementation of the PPP projects in the Russian Federation and a way of their decision are revealed.
