In the article the results of research reflecting the main historical forms of the modern mechanism of securitization of assets are presented. For definition of these forms works of researchers of the different eras, concerning securitizations of assets are considered, and also the analysis of practical use of various mechanisms of securitization of assets, characteristic for certain historical periods is carried out. Modern concepts of securitization of assets are generalized and systematized.
