In the article a comparative analysis of the theoretical views on the structure and the content of the elements of the monetary regulation of economics are presented. The most important provisions are systematized and classification of the purposes of monetary and credit regulation is specified, the factors influencing a choice of a mode of a monetary policy are concretized, the list of tools regarding impact on monetary weight is added.
