In the article the social and economic reasons of Civil war (1861–1865) and its results are considered. By 1880 industrial revolution in America has come to the end. The United States became an industrial country, which appeared on the economic development in the second in the world after England. The great attention is paid to the formation and development of the financial and banking system of the USA.
