In the article the method of an integrated assessment of an economic condition and level of innovative development of the enterprise is presented, directed on improvement of already existing approaches to an assessment of innovative activity of the organizations. The system of a complex assessment of an economic condition and level of innovative development of the enterprise is developed. The special algorithm, allowing to use the methods within this research in practice is offered. Practical approbation of an offered technique on the example of the Russian enterprises of the metallurgical sphere is made, the corresponding recommendations on participation in innovative activity are provided.
