In the article it is noted that each mutual investment fund (MIF) is different the strategy of investment, structure of investments, level of liquidity of shares. As a result in the market of mutual funds comparison of profitability of mutual investment funds of various management companies, and also different types of funds for a choice of the fund most suitable for the investor is complicated. The comparative analysis of existing techniques of assignment of ratings is carried out by leading rating agencies. The offered and approved technique of assignment of ratings allows to level shortcomings of existing systems of rating, simplifies a choice of effective mutual funds for private investors.
