In the article various questions of attraction of foreign investments into economy of Russia are investigated. Value of foreign investments and need of their use is considered. As regional aspects of investment development in the Russian Federation are analyzed. As a result problems of investment activity in the Russian Federation are generalized; the ways of their decision with a view of increase of appeal of economy for foreign investors are planned.
