Unified View on the Nature of Economic Cycles

The economic dynamics is irregular and characterized by the specific periodicity. The wellknown economic cycles are Kitchin and Juglar cycles, Kuznets swings and Kondratieff waves. It is generally accepted that they have different economic nature. However, this research has shown that a unified approach to their description is possible. It is shown in the article that by using a model, based on obvious assumptions and the simplest mathematical conversions, it is possible to describe different cycles as a duplication of a certain basic cycle (Kitchin cycle.
