Innovation risks insurance: essence and prospects for development in Russia

In the article it is noted that the integral characteristic of any innovative project is the increased risk. It causes relevance of the best ways to reduce the degree of innovation risk and mitigate the consequences. The features of risks in the sphere of innovations are considered. The characteristic of the main methods of decrease in degree of innovative risks is given. The essence and an insurance role in a control system of innovative risks are defined. The key problems and prospects of development of insurance of innovative risks in Russia are presented.
