Key indicators of efficiency of credit system

In the article the topical issues connected with a problem of formation of effective credit system are considered. It is noted that the role of key indicators of efficiency of credit system amplifies in the conditions of global financial crisis. Methodological approaches to an assessment of efficiency of credit system with a choice of the corresponding criteria and indicators are analyzed. It is noted that the rate of refinancing is among key advancing indicators which help to regulate economy. The directions of improvement of credit activity which can increase efficiency of credit system and impact of banks on sustainable development of economy are offered. The conclusion is drawn on importance of definition of additional indicators of efficiency.
