In the article it is noted that in the course of demonetization gold from category of "natural money" passed to category of "financial assets" and at the same time "the exchange goods", having industrial application. Now in the world there is rather big range of the bank and exchange tools capable purposefully to realize financial potential of gold, caused by demand of institutional and private investors with a view of preservation of cost and profit taking.
