Condition of the European financial and economic thought in the first half of the XIX century

In article formation and development of the finance as sciences is shown. The classical bourgeois political economy has been presented by works of English economist D. Rikardo which after A. Smit continued to develop the economic concept of the labor theory of value. Alternative economic doctrines have been presented by theories of historical school of F. List, Maltus, school Sowing, Millja. The criticism of capitalism proceeded from representatives of petty-bourgeois direction of political economy and a utopian socialism.
