In the article condition and the special feature of the economic development of the European countries in the first half of the XIX c. are examined. Special attention is given the methodology of concepts «capitalist mean of production» and «industrial revolution», to their unique features, characteristic of the different countries. The ways of formation and development of the financial-bank system of England, France and Germany are analyzed.
