Mutual funds - an innovative direction of the collective investment on the Russian financial market

In the article UITS are interpreted as an innovative instrument of the collective investing. Their essence, classification, features of functioning, is considered, the estimation of activity is carried out, dignities, defects, are educed, basic problems are systematized. The special value is spared to determination of role of UITS in development of national bank sector; the degree of their competitiveness is set at the market of bank services. As a result innovative directions of their activity are formed in 2012-2013, namely: creation of specialized UITS oriented to the modern economic necessities of enterprises in relation to the structure of their assets, adjusting of non-market risks along with the market.
