In modern conditions on the foreground the questions connected to functioning of bank system in postcrisis economy and, accordingly, questions of concentration of the credit organizations on territory of the country leave. It is known, that quality of given services and completeness of scope of the population depends on quantity of the credit organizations by bank services. In the article it is analyzed the processes of concentration of the credit organizations for all time of existence of the Russian bank system and the basic directions of its effective regulation.
