Capitalization and monopolization of banking sector in the light of new requirements of Bank of Russia

In the article it is investigated the influence of new demands of Bank of Russia towards the equity capital of commercial banks on capitalization level of Russian banking sector. The indicators of monopolization and homogeneity of banking sector of Russia are calculated and analyzed, and they are compared with analogical indicators in the USA. It is concluded about the necessity of selective approach to regulation of banks capital.
