Plurality of characteristics of system of the state and municipal finance control, distinction in resource maintenance of control bodies complicates application of the unified criteria and indicators for an estimation effective and adequate comparison of results of control activity. For the unified estimation of activity of control bodies it is offered «pragmatical criterion». In article the essence and approaches to an estimation of the effects shown in owing to carried out control action (economic, social, organizational) is specified; are added formalized and not formalized criteria, indicators criteres.
