In article formation stages metallurgical corporations in Russia are considered. Tendencies of corporate building in branch, including processes of transnationalization of business, mechanisms of re-structuring, strengthening of integration processes are analyzed. The estimation of perspective ways of development on the basis of the analysis of specificity of branch consolidation is spent.
