Russian securities market during globalization processes late XIX - early XX centiries

The article is devoted to major trends at the securities market of the Russian Empire in the period of industrial and financial upraise late XIX - early XX century, when started the processes of financial globalization. Shown the development of individual investors at the securities market as a result of the middle class formation, the origin in large cities the service sector of the economy associated with financial services, and also emergence of the financial business networks in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Explained the role of foreign investment in industrial expansion. Based on statistical data gives a general summary of the securities market in this period and identified the main reasons hindered its development.
