The article describes about the economical life of Russian America to the period from the formation of Russian-American Company (RAC, 1799) until the conclusion of the Treaty, March 18 (30), 1867 about the sale of Alaska. Author relate financial situation of RAC and the perspective for its development. From 1803 round-the-world voyages were sent to Russian America, mutual collaboration with Boston Company, California and Hawaiian Island had been developed. At the beginning of the 1820s the disagreements between the Russian government and the management of the Russian-American Company were revealed.
