Savings of the population as the parameter of economic welfare and the internal source of investments

In article the economic nature of savings as parameter of economic welfare of the population and as internal source of investments is opened. Author's definition of a category «the population savings» is given, motives of formation of savings among which "amortization", pension, motive of precaution etc. are characterized, classification of population savings proceeding from the time factor, motive of formation and a degree of organization is submitted, each kind of savings is appreciated from a position of investment appeal. Dynamics of investments in a fixed capital is analyzed, the size of investments is compared to volume of population savings therefore the inefficiency of use of population savings as an investment resource is proved. Necessity of transformation of population savings for the investment is proved as it will promote activization of investment process, will increase of population incomes and will growth of its economic welfare.
