Transformation of monetary market instruments as a result of diffusion of innovations

The article is devoted to the modern trends in evolution of monetary market instruments such as bullion and commemorative coins. Transformation of these instruments is reviewed from the point of interrelation of market demand, economy crisis and diffusion of new technologies and business methods. It is noted, that forming of new market segments and enlisting new groups of consumers resulted in commemorative and other unusual coins aggregate demand nearly equal to the level of demand, typical for bullion coins.
