Remote banking services in Russia: status and trends

Remote banking services are the basic model of the banking sector in developed countries during more than 20 years. Nowadays there is a noticeable lag from foreign commercial banks in the management of innovation processes in Russia, that will inevitably lead to a significant weakening of domestic banks to compete on the international financial market. To avoid this situation some steps should be taken to improve the efficiency of innovation activity of Russian credit organizations, otherwise the banking system will inevitably face serious challenges. This requires analysis and evaluation of the use of modern banking systems in commercial banks of the Russian Federation. These kinds of problems are considered in the author’s article.
