Problems of constructing an investment strategy of regional commercial banks during the economic crisis on an example of the Ulyanovsk region

The article discusses theoretical and practical aspects of problems associated with the implementation of the investment strategy of regional commercial banks. Analyzes the concept of investment banking, taking into account the foreign and domestic practices and highlights the features characteristic of small and medium-sized financial institutions. The economic crisis has a significant impact on the types of investment transactions, available to the bank. The paper contains a comparative analysis on the example of the Ulyanovsk region. The findings presented in this article, taking into account the special situation of the Ulyanovsk region, can be used by credit institutions from other regions of the country.
