Morden investment model of russian oil companies and financing of exploration

In the present work we examined the ten year growth rates of Russian economy and oil industry, investment in non-financial assets in general and exploration investment. We performed financial analysis on the largest Russian oil companies. We concluded that there are no financial reasons behind exploration underinvestment on their part. We suggested measures to stimulate exploration.
