Evolution, problems and prospepects of development of central banks

In connection with the crisis in banking sphere, the problem of creation the banking system that wouldn’t be a source of catastrophic deviations, and would take the right measures in response to public activity, have recently gained greater urgency. Majority of economists believe that state interference in the banking sphere became integral part of the standard system. However, the institute of the central bank was historically created in the course of heated discussions, and in conflict of different schools. It should be underlined in connection with the 150 anniversary of creation of the State bank of Russia.
