Financial management in the public and municipal administration

Nowadays the term «financial management» is used within the public and the municipal sector perhaps more than in private. In this article we draw the parallels between elements of financial management in corporate financial regulations and the sphere of state and municipal administration and revealed differences. We analyzed possibilities of development of financial management at all levels of budgetary system of the Russian Federation. We suggested the ways of implementing the financial management in the budget process in accordance with the program of improvement the efficiency of budgetary expenditures and the continued transition to result-oriented budgeting.
