This article discusses the main market trends of art as an alternative market for financial investments. This article provides an overview of art objects by location-based transactions, geography of art objects sales, the amount of sales, etc. We identified internal and external factors affecting the sale on the art market, they were classified as: a name and nationality of the author, the market liquidity and breadth of the author's works, the size of the picture, during the creation of paintings, his age at the time of the picture, the plot.
