Availability of well working financial markets is a necessary condition for economic system functioning. In the given work efficiency of Russian financial market and its separate segments functioning is considered. Within the bounds of research the methodology of the system analysis, statistical and econometric methods were used. Conclusion about general effectiveness of Russian financial market was drawn.
