Peculiarities of households’ financial behavior in the conditions of crisis

The article analyzes the problem of efficient and rational behavior of households in the conditions of existing macro-economic situation. It touches upon the thesis about the necessity of development of households’ saving behavior and singles out excessive consumer demand and the striving to spend resources among the reasons for the financial crisis. Besides, it evaluates the most popular financial instruments and prospects of their application in the current conditions.
