State Policy of Russian Federation in the Field of High Technologies

The development of high tech sector has gained high importance in modern world, and well-developed states stimulate innovative production with state policy measures. Russian Government has declared to pursue a course to accelerated modernization, but actually the measures that are being taken contradict to this course. As the VIth technology structure is now in process of its formation, Russia should focus on development of high technologies in the fields where it still has competitive advantages - nanotechnologies, aviation and spaceship construction, shipbuilding, atomic industry.
