The article deals with the important problem - securitization of bank assets. It covers the essence of securitization, provides the different definitions, show the securitization market development in the recent 10 years and positive sides of securitization. The article also covers the types of securitization in dependence with the asset types, securitization influence on the risk elimination. It provides main principles of securitization and main flaws of securitization mechanisms.
