Criterions of bankruptcy (insolvency) for banks

The global economic crisis put a significant influence upon all the sectors of Russian economy and especially upon the banking sector. The amount of banking licenses cancelled on financial reasons raised from 3 in 2006-2007 to 21 in 2008 and 33 in 2009. The analysis of criterions of insolvency (bankruptcy) is held in this article. The main conclusion of the article is the necessity of exact description of these economic determinations in the Russian law.
