By joining the Bologna process Russia has strengthened competitive positions of graduates of its universities. The way how the educational process, self-study exercises and research and development activity are organised has a crucial impact on the quality of education. Various topics were discussed at interuniversity conferences, including new education requirements for graduates of tax specialities, organisation of modern educational process, scientific aspects of study, methodological support of new approaches to students’ classroom and individual work.
