Steps of the pension reform of the Russia

The article is dedicated to the research of development of the pension system in the Russian Federation. In the article core steps of the pension reform are considered, the description of institutions of the pension provision, which are being introduced as from 1 January 2002, is given. The article contains detailed analysis of financial basis of the obligatory pension insurance. The special attention is given to the consideration of changes in creation and use of financial resources of the Pension fund of Russia, which will be introduced as from 1 January 2010; problems of the new model of the obligatory pension insurance implementation are revealed.
