In the article explored essence of an investment potential in the insurance and his elements in the region - insurance potential and investment potential of the economy. Carried out an analysis of a development level of the insurance market in republic Khakasia: composition and dynamics of insurance classes, in detail a life insurance, functioning features of insurers. In the work explored interconnection of factors regional economic progress and investment possibilities of insurance companies. Determined problems, limiting an investment activity of insurers, offered devices of the solution.
